CIA Chief Has Strong Words For Donald Trump

CIA Director John Brennan slammed Donald Trump over the weekend for his comments on Twitter. Brennan was upset at what the President Elect comments comparing the Intelligence Community to acting like Nazi Germany.

Brennan appeared on Fox News Sunday and stated:

“Now that he’s going to have an opportunity to do something for our national security as opposed to talking and tweeting,” Brennan told Fox News Sunday, “he’s (Trump) going to have tremendous responsibility to make sure that US and national security interests are protected.

“I think he has to be mindful that he does not have a full appreciation and understanding of what the implications are of going down that road.”

President Elect Trump fired back.

It would appear that this is a continuation of the battle between President Elect Trump and the outgoing Intelligence Community leadership. Last week, during a press conference Mr. Trump, disclosed and embarrassed the Intelligence Community for leaking his intelligence briefings. President Elect Trump stated that he stopped telling his staff what was discussed during the briefings because Trump thought there was a leak inside his team.
Nevertheless, the information was still getting to the press, which is how Mr. Trump determined that it was the Intelligence community leaking the classified information. Then, no doubt embarrassed Brennan’s hand was caught in the cookie jar so Sunday, Brennan goes on Fox News to fire back.
This is just another fine example of partisan politics, instead of two Administrations working together to transfer power for the best of its people, they bicker back and forth on social media and television like children.
