After an epic press conference yesterday by the President the media is running around furious. The media thought they were going to roast the President over the Flynn resignation. However, what they ended up with was a President that wasn’t going to take what he felt was abuse from the press.
After the press conference, the media retreated to their networks and were acting like children being exposed to the world for the first time after having ‘helicopter parents.” They were furious that the President would question the legitimacy of their reporting. Jake Tapper of CNN was just in total disgusts with President Trump stating that the media is not the problem President Trump is. Secondly, Tapper suggests that Trump is mentally unfit to be President saying he was “unhinged”. Thirdly, (and I agree) Tapper said the President needs to stop telling us “you won” the Presidency “you did win” now move on. If you would like to watch the video below and see Tapper’s temper tantrum it is below:
Shepard Smith of Fox News was next to absolutely lose his mind and has taken a lot of heat from Trump supporters on Twitter. During his commentary Shepard stated:
“It’s crazy what we’re watching every day. It’s absolutely crazy. He keeps repeating ridiculous, throwaway lines that are not true at all and sort of avoiding this issue of Russia as if we’re some kind of fools for asking the question. Really? Your opposition was hacked and the Russians were responsible for it and your people were on the phone with Russia on the same day it was happening and we’re fools for asking the questions? No sir.”
“We have a right to know,” Smith added. “You call us fake news and put us down like children for asking questions on behalf of the American people.”
Jimmy Fallon just couldn’t help himself and did his own parody of the new conference and you can watch it here, it is pretty funny.
The media was not used to how they were treated by the President. Since Bill Clinton’s second term they have shaped the narrative their way. Well, there is a new guy in town and he’s going to give the press a run for his money. Also you may not want to miss President Trump’s next press conference, I’m sure it won’t disappoint.
