Among the most dubious diets meant to help you lose weight is the new diet of eating chicken nuggets from Chick-fil-A. This must have given a lot of hope to people who are not really fond of eating the less tasty salads and vegetables. Unfortunately, nutritionists believe this is a scam.

The chicken nuggets diet includes eating eight packs of grilled chicken nuggets each day, thus consuming the product every three or four hours. Although the chicken nuggets are low in calories and have a high level of protein, they also lack other vital nutrients. What is even more ridiculous apart from even considering a fast food diet is the costly price: the diet eats about $700 from your pockets each month.

Chick-fil-A’s diet does work on a short term, but after losing a couple of pounds you might find with surprise that you have developed some other health problems in the meantime. It is also possible that you might regain the lost pounds as quickly as you got rid of them.

It all started when the company printed a recommendation on their take-away bags. Apart from eating countless chicken nuggets, they also included a tiny bit about the importance of exercise, but even that will not give you the vital nutrients to stay healthy.

It has been proven countless times that healthy does not usually correlate with tasty. Furthermore, there is no way of losing weight without a balanced diet, and certainly not with fast food, as much as we would all like that. New York Nutrition Group member Lisa Moskovitz has stated that chicken nuggets cannot insure a healthy intake of antioxidants, fiber and vitamins.

While it is true that one pack containing eight grilled chicken nuggets is evaluated at 140 calories, 23 gm of protein and 3 gm of fat, with $700 each month you could get a specialized diet from a nutritionist which will not only help you lose weight, but also sustain your weight and keep you healthy.

Even though the diet involved the grilled chicken nuggets and not the popular and delicious fried variety, it still would have been a wonderful solution for people who wish to lose weight but not give up on tasty food. The new diet of eating chicken nuggets from Chick-fil-A cannot be accused of tricking people, but more of not giving them the whole information on its effects.
