Trump Refuses To Back Down Back Down, But Democrats Have A Plan Of Their Own

He will not change his ideas, his views, and his behavior.

On Friday Donald Trump was sworn in at America’s 45th President. He arrived in Washington on Thursday and he was not shy to make it memorable. Trump stopped by to speak to tens of thousands of people during a concert at the Lincoln Memorial. He also stopped at his hotel and talked to some people there, praising his incoming Cabinet. He was joined by his wife, Melania Trump.

Trump will be Trump

Everybody should have understood by now that Donald Trump is not going to change. He will not change his ideas, his views, and his behavior. And the people of America cannot do anything else but learn to accept him as he is. To tolerate him. He will not give up on Twitter also. He actually live-tweeted his entire arrival. Apart from this, he also kept on attacking the people who criticized him and his team. Moreover, Trump stated that his cabinet is the smartest the United States ever had, with the highest IQ.

The inauguration event starts at 11:30 in the morning. After that, Trump will be sworn in and will have lunch at the Capitol. Three inaugural balls took place on Friday night and the inaugural parade, on Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Trump’s first full work-day as president of the United States will probably be Monday. It will be interesting to see whether or not he will keep his campaign promises, because he talked a lot about his first day in the office. He might not begin building a wall on the Mexican border or end the “coal war”. However, he will indeed take some decisions, in order to prove to everyone that he means business.

Supporters versus protesters

However, President Trump’s inauguration had a series of protests during and after he was sworn in. The authorities did intervene because when a few protest became violent. Things did get serious and authorities used flash bangs, tear gas, and a skirmish line to disperse the crowd. Another group handed out over 4,000 marijuana joints to people and marched toward the Mall.

The Trump International Hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue NW was a kind of Mecca for visitors, supporters, guests and Trump’s aides. This week, the hotel’s rates were reportedly five times higher than usual. The staff was also offering rooms just to those visitors who were willing to pay for a minimum of five nights.

On Monday during President Trump’s first day, he met with business leaders throughout the country and labor leaders. President Trump showed his promise to “the working man” and those that voted for him. However, only a handful of his cabinet nominee’s has been voted through.

On Thursday night, Donald Trump held a black-tie dinner Washington’s stately Union Station. There, he joked with the members of his team, made fun of Reince Priebus’ name and said that all of his opponents are “going crazy”. All in all, it seems like the final moment is here. What will happen from now on will be the most interesting part. It could be bad, even horrible, for everyone. It could also be not so bad. The worst type of patience is the one when you do not know what is going to happen next. Uncertainty is a curse. Let’ just hope that, in a few years, we will look back and say that it was not so bad after all.
